Matthew 17:20 “He told them, "Because of your lack of faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Nothing is impossible? How then do we shutter when we face the seemingly impossible in our world? Why do we stop short of truly believing God in ‘those’ issues? I personally believe that is because we are directing our faith wrongly. Let me explain.
In the case of a headache, we believe. Sore backs—no problem. Cancer, heart, incurable illnesses, well that’s in the too hard basket. We ask, “What if they aren’t healed?” “What if I’m made to look foolish if nothing happens?” Whoopie! Who do we place our faith in? Us? Our prayers? Our faith? Another man of God? If so, repent now!
It’s all about God and His glory. He is totally sovereign and does whatever, whenever He wants so leave your pride at home and believe God for healings and miraculous signs and wonders. Don’t forget that God is the miracle worker and we are His workman.
Never take your focus off God whether it be a small request or a huge one. Nothing takes God by surprise. I believe God to do awesome acts of love in this church both NOW and in the future. But it is all to glorify His wonderful name. Join me in faith in the Almighty God today.
