When we go shopping at this time of the year, we see all the over commercialisation of this joyous season. The shops are all vying for our dollar, wanting us to purchase from their establishment. While we see signs wishing us a Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays, please don’t get offended by the lack of a Christ-filled greeting.
What I mean is this.
We could argue and fight till we are blue in the face about getting Christ back into Christmas and desiring to see the true meaning of this season properly delivered.
The problem is, these people don’t know Jesus. They aren’t in relationship with Him therefore, haven’t been transformed by His wonderful saving grace.
As long as you celebrate the true meaning and share this glorious truth with your friends and family that surround you, everything is ok.
Don’t expect the yet-to-be-saved to preach this message— that is your responsibility!
The next time you are offended with this Godless world, get over it and get on with living a wholesome, Godly life—celebrating Christmas and worshipping our Saviour. Merry Christmas.
