Where has this year gone? I know we utter those words every year but WOW! The years to seem to be speeding up.
Here we are in December, the final leg of the year and we are still here, serving the Lord Jesus at Southern Bay Church.
We sometimes look in awe at people who seem to achieve so much and have built a great name but why?
The fact that you are serving the Lord with gladness and entering His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise every Sunday is a real mark of greatness! I mean that. Southern Bay is the best church in the world because you are a part of it. This is not patronising. God has gathered a great team here and I am so honoured to be your pastor.
Longevity is a great quality to have and you have it.
Philippians 3:14 says, “I run straight toward the goal to win the prize that God's heavenly call offers in Christ Jesus.”
Keep running the good race of the heavenly call that is on your life. As 2006 draws quickly to a close, be refreshed for a great and profitable 2007. I am so happy to have you on board. Together, we can make a difference here in the Redlands. Keep your eyes on Jesus—the Author and Finisher of your faith. (Hebrews 12:2)
