The 11th of the 11th is a special day for the free world. It is the day we remember the signing of the Armistice which ended WWI in 1918.
Many brave men went before us and gave their lives for the love of their great nation of Australia.
We must remember the sacrifice they made so we can enjoy the freedoms we now have in this nation.
The German fighting machine suffered great loss in the four months preceding this treaty. They saw there was no possible means of victory so they offered unconditional surrender.
Things haven’t changed for us. We are told to lay down our arms and surrender to the will of the King of all kings.
John 14:6 says, “Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth & the life. No man can come to the Father except though Me’” We must unconditionally surrender our lives to Jesus, making Him Lord.
Following our surrender, we can walk in the freedom of the God, being filled daily with the Holy Spirit. If you are saved and set free but haven’t yet been filled with the Holy Spirit of God, do it today. Come and see me ore someone in the church who you know is filled with the Spirit and have a chat. Remember the Lord today. Lest we forget.
God bless you. Love from your pastor, Daren.
