The waiting game can be so frustrating and troublesome to the human mind. Whenever you are waiting for a decision from someone that can have a huge effect on your life, the sensation of leaving it all in the hands of God is not only daunting but foreign.
The recent wait for the owners of the church complex and house on Bloomfield Street to give us an answer has been a test of my patience and durability. With much to do and much at stake, letting go and surrendering to God requires mature faith and obedience to His Word.
There are many occasions in life that we face issues that are in the balance. A wrong choice left or right or stepping out of God’s timing will only ever cause harm and distress.
When it’s all in the balance and everything seems to be hanging on one man’s decision, remember Abraham who was told that he was going to be the father of many nations, whose descendants could not be counted. Check out his circumstance. (Gen 17) He was 99 & his young wife was 90! How was that going to happen?
With God, all things are possible. Keep trusting in Him in you current trial and He will bring you through.
