A little boy went to the pastor and asked him to have those in the prayer meeting to pray that the Lord might cause his sister to read the Bible. The pastor made the request known, but as soon as someone began to pray about it, little Johnny left. Everyone thought he was very rude, so the next day, the pastor scolded him for it. Johnny replied, “Sir, I wanted to go & see my sister read the Bible for the first time.”
The Bible is very clear that we must believe & not doubt God’s ability to come through in your impossibility that you are facing.
James 1:6 “But when you pray, you must believe and not doubt at all. Whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea that is driven and blown about by the wind.”
Little Johnny had no doubt in the God which he made his request to.
Next time you face an impossibility, allow God to turn it around. You might read in the trade classified section of the local rag “No job too big or too small”. God works on the same basis. He cares about your intricate detail, your head cold, marriage difficulties or financial problems.
The fact is, there is nothing my God cannot do. Don’t put your faith in faith but put your faith in the faith giver...God.
