We are truly a blessed generation. As Christians, there are so many resources to draw from to read and enjoy in order to experience greater opportunities for growth. After all, what purpose do we desire growth? Let me give my thoughts… To give glory to God. As we mature spiritually, just like in the natural, we grasp a better handle on life. We become less focussed on us (me) and are able to serve the Lord in a greater capacity. Our behaviour, our thoughts our attitudes and actions are based on giving glory to God and are a whole lot less self-centred. To be a blessing to others. Ever noticed the central focus of a spoilt child? Not real attractive hey? As we mature in Christ, we become a well of blessing to everyone around us. We are full of joy in the Holy Spirit and do what is a true blessing to others around us...Rom 12:10 “Be kind to one another with a brother's love, putting others before yourselves in honour;” To increase His kingdom. A fat baby is full of nutrition but just as they must move on and use that nutrition for future growth and development, a Christian full of the Word but doesn't live it, lives only to please themselves. Mat 6:33  “But let your first care be for his kingdom and his righteousness; and all these other things will be given to you in addition.” As we are more and more God-centred looking outward in our everyday lives, God will fill our every need so we become that channel of blessing for everyone.
