Do you want heaps of God’s grace? Do you think you can make it on your own or do you eagerly desire an out-pouring of God favour in your life?
In all reality, I fail to see how I would survive, let alone truly live, without the grace of God that is upon me. His undeserved favour rests on me and all who accept the wonderful free gift of Jesus’ salvation.
James 4:6 “But the grace that God gives is even stronger. As the scripture says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
Mmmm! The key to God’s grace is humility. Therefore, the key to salvation is also humility. That’s a humble thought.
Two men died and waited at the Pearly Gates for admission into heaven. “We’ve got room for only one more,” Saint Peter declared. “Which one of you is more humble?”
I don’t need to say that the doctrine isn’t totally accurate but the challenge is.
Colossians 3:12 “You are the people of God; he loved you and chose you for His own. So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”
It’s a must! If you are suffering from pride (& pride attacks in many different ways), clothe yourself with humility. As you do, God’s grace will increase within your life. Praise the Name of Jesus for His grace!
