Every day we wake up, we face many choices. Some of those choices are momentous but others are everyday simple decisions that we make with hardly a thought.
We make subconscious decisions that impact our moods, our responses and even our future. Let me explain.
If your response to people around you is always negative or at least mostly in a ’downer’, will you attract people around you who will be positive and encouraging? Mostly not because positive and encouraging people are normally drawn to like-minded people.
In fact, positive minded people often choose their friends carefully.
There are also the gossips and those who spread rumours. It’s a matter of choice. They choose to live that way and once again, struggle to attract good, positive and Godly friends. How about Godliness? It’s a matter of choice once again. We all make decisions as to how seriously we seek after and wait on the Lord.
If you desire to invest your life into the Eternal God and discipline your life to live powerfully for Him, you WILL reap the rewards without a doubt.
Joshua gave an ultimatum to the people of Israel.
“But if you are unwilling to serve the Lord, then choose today who you will serve. Would you prefer the gods of our ancestors...But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
Your life in God is a matter of choice. Choose today to live for Him. It’s the most important choice you’ll ever make.
