Southern Bay Church is…

1. A church of Honour. We will always honour each other as we strive to serve God. We will lift one another up in prayer, honouring especially the church leaders and the leaders of our land.

2. A church of Worship. God is our stronghold and our fortress. We will worship Him corporately and individually by our lifestyle (words and actions) and in music and song. We will express our love for Him in all we do as a church.

3. A church of Encouragement. We will always speak words to build up, not to destroy. We will use God’s language of salvation to a dry and weary community who needs Christ.

4. A church of Value. We see the value of Southern Bay Church as it is the body of Christ. As we work together in unity, we will build the church together and show the world that we are disciples of Jesus by the love we have for each other.

5. A Church of Prayer. As we pray together as a church, we will enjoy His abounding blessing, healing, favour and rest. Southern Bay Church will be known for our intimate relationship we have with the Lord Jesus.

6. A Church that Seeks God First. Matthew 6:33 states this clearly. We can't afford to seek out the sensational & the peripheral if we don't seek His Kingdom and righteousness first & foremost. We point all towards the Lord in everything we do.

7. A Church of Praise. King David was a man of praise, chasing after God's own heart. Amidst his own imperfections, God heard his praise, even when everything was going against him. We are a praising church, reaching into the throne room of God.

8. A Church bringing Redemption and Lift. Within Redland City, we are aware of specific needs. By word & deed, we bring God's ministry of reconciliation to all who receive it by God's grace, constantly lifting high the Name of Jesus as Lord.

9. A Church of Mission. While we are here, there is a mission field waiting. Whether it is in the Redlands, intrastate, interstate or abroard, we seek how we can assist missions who are truly called of God.

10. A Church with a Pioneering Spirit. We have not completed God's call to pioneer until Jesus returns to take His Church. There are new opportunities that will arise. There are more souls to win. There are new roads to travel. This church is open to research the Holy Spirit's leading to pioneer new work and ministries to fulfill His call.
